Nate Dare
IN A NUTSHELL: The essence of normal and unique blended together in a high school freshman.
LOOK IN THE MIRROR: Nate is average height, average weight, average looks. He appears Asian, but he wont say yes or no to anyone who asks if he is Asian. He has black hair and eyes. His outfit is invariably formal, black collared shirt, black suit pants, and a black tie occasionally. He's been like this as long as we can remember, and will probably be like this until the end of time.
TRUE TO YOURSELF: At school, he has zero personality. He is in all honors classes, and several grades ahead in math and science. He has no friends, except for Tai. He rarely talks, except to answer a teacher's question, and then in as few words as possible. Lately though, he has become more talkative, voluntarily speaking up to two sentences per week! He does not participate in any after school activities, or other clubs or groups. He spends all of his free time in his house, doing whatever he does, only he and Tai know. He does not have a crush on Tai, she just keeps him dying from lack of social interaction.
REWIND: Nate's parents grew up in Winton. They are government employed archaeologists, and return to their house in Winton about once every three years. Since they thought Nate was smart enough to fend for himself, they basically just sent him money each month, and he figured out what to do with it. In return, Nate sends them his perfect report cards twice a year, and thus, has always received his parental funding.
