Raven sat back in the hospital bed, her eyelids low.
"I'm really sorry if I scared you guys. I just get... so fed up with myself." The goth said, toying with her fingers. Blade placed his palm upon Raven's hand comfortingly.

All of a sudden, a streak of mild hatred ran down Raven's chest.
"It's her fault I'm here..." Raven growled. She then turned to Blade. "Did you do anything about her yet?" She questioned. Blade nodded.
"Told her to get my bottle of Gatorade. When she left I had the time to tell her girls." He stated, flipping his ebony hair. Raven gave a small, yet victorious smirk.
"Awesome." She said softly.

Cody grinned. "I propose a toast!" He grabbed an empty cup. "To victory against the forces of childish posses!"

Raven grinned, holding up her cup. Blade grabbed a cup for him and Luna as well, and he held his high.
"And to our everlasting luck of Raven being alive!"

When the doctor came in, Raven yawned.
"Can I please go now?" She asked him. He shook his head.
"Sorry, but you'll be staying here until tomorrow."
"I feel just fine!" Raven said softly. The doctor sighed.
"We need to refill your blood, miss. You've lost a lot." He explained. Raven lay back, closing her eyes.
"Ugh, fine..." She said, reopening her eyes to look at her friends. "Beats playing volleyball, at least!" She chuckled playfully.

"Eh, yeah." She could be dying of a heart attack and it would be more enjoyable than volleyball. Well... in her opinion.

Cody glanced at his watch. "I hate to leave you guys like this, but I have to go home and finish my homework, otherwise I'm dead." He paused by the door, holding it open. "Coming, Luna, Blade? I'll help you guys with your math and stuff."

Raven studied all of her friends' faces, happy to know that some people do care about her.
