Blade stood on the opposite site of the net with his group, trying his ultimate best not to knock Chloe right up the side of the jaw for saying what she said about Raven. Then, he just remembered his plan- the Gatorade. Chloe was busy droning on about random stuff, and was soon interrupted by Blade.
"Get me my Gatorade." He demanded coldly. She looked at him, her eyes gleaming.
"I'm sorry? I didn't quite hear what you were sa-"
"Get me my Gatorade." Blade growled. Chloe giggled.
"Sure thing, Blade!" And she ran to go get him his drink. Perfect. He thought.

Luna smirked, seeing Chloe scuttle off to do Blade's bidding. Perfect; Blade had probably assessed this opportunity to spread the rumour. Cody, who was blissfully uninformed, tapped his foot impatiently.

Blade smirked, walking over to Chloe's posse.
"Hey, girls." He said in a casual manner. The two girls giggled.
"Hi Blade!" They greeted in unison. Blade grinned.
"Hey... did you guys here about Chloe and Jack Engel?" He asked. The two girls looked at each other, then back at Blade.
"That redhead?" One of the girls asked.
"Yes! I saw them making out. She's cheating on him." Blade said. The girls looked at each other again.
"She never told us that!" The other girl said. Just then Blade saw Chloe coming, and walked back to his spot.
"Here's your Gatorade, Blade." She giggled. Blade snatched the bottle from her hand, and took a sip.

Luna saw the intent look in Chloe's posse's eyes and grinned. A sweet victory for the kids outside the circle, and a major defeat for those inside it. As for Jack Engel, no doubt he'd be happy to hear he had a new girlfriend. Luna felt re-energized. She saw the ball coming over the net, and moved to catch it...but tripped over Tod's foot and fell over. She felt herself falling over, and then a soft, living weight underneath her. Luna tilted her head up and found herself staring into a familiar rounded, childlike face, surrounded by long auburn hair and fitted with sparkling turquoise eyes. Cody chuckled, "Man, I remember back when you were nice and light." Luna fixed her ice-blue eyes on him and retorted playfully, "You call me fat and I'll elbow you. Now let me up."

Meanwhile, Raven crouched upon the toilet in the stall. Big, wet tears escaped from the edges of her caramel eyes, and ran down her cheeks, leaving moist trails. She was a fail at life. She's always been a fail at life. But here? And now? She always makes a flaw in the wrong place, at the wrong time, in front of the wrong people. She hated it. After a couple minutes of crying, Raven wiped her eyes, and just crouched there for a moment, thinking.
Do it, no one's watching. You can clean up the blood before you leave... She thought to herself, thinking about what she wanted to do. But she also thought about the consequences...

Cody, irritated because there was no one to fill the Back Row Centre Position where Raven had been and that had become a weak point in the whole game, which Chloe's team had started exploiting, snapped angrily, "Okay, Mr. Berkley, we need someone to fill this position."

Mr. Berkley sighed.
"Chloe, would you go check on Raven to see if she's alright?" He asked. Chloe nodded, smiling.
"Sure thing, Mr. B!" She started to walk off, but Blade took her arm. Not in a loving way, but a hostile way.
"No. I will go check on her." Blade hissed. Chloe pouted.
"But I'm a girl." She fought. Blade pushed her away, and proceeded to the bathrooms.
"Mr. Belden! Come back here this moment!" Mr. Berkley shouted. Blade didn't listen, and continued to walk on.

Cody chuckled, joking around with Jaime. "I know the phrase 'love makes you blind' but that's a bit extreme..." Cody quipped. Jaime retorted playfully, "Well, hey, meeting your girlfriend in the bathrooms? Only one thing he's got in mind!" Cody laughed, "Well who wouldn't?"

Raven, still crouched upon the toilet, looked down at her wrists, then the floor, and back at her wrists. Thin slices decorated both of her forearms, saturated in blood. Tears rolled from her eyes, as she gripped her pocket knife in her right hand, and continued to slice some more.
"M-more blood... m-more b-b-blood..." She said to herself. Just then, she heard the bathroom door open. She immediately halted to look up.
"Raven! Please come out, it's Blade!" The boy said. Raven gulped.
"No one needs me. NO ONE GIVES A SHIT!" She screamed, stabbing her knife into her wrist, and suddenly blacking out. The last thing she heard was Blade's voice calling her name.
